FRENCH METAL GATES

Found in France, they have a beautiful green paint finish with lovely patina. Accent trim and decorative leaf motifs are a bronzy/brass color.

In excellent condition. Paint is original.

Trés decoratif.....you could prop them up against a wall and enjoy them in that way.  Or incorporate them into your decor.  They can be used either inside your home or outside in your garden.  I have scanned a photo from a recent Town and Country Magazine showing similar gates used to decorate the setting for a wedding ceremony.  Their use is limited only by your imagination.  $695.00

SUPERB 19TH C. CARRIAGE IN ORIGINAL RED PAINT

Rare to find in such fine, original condition, this surrey dates circa 1870. Found in Bennington, Vermont, it was probably made in Vermont where many fine 19th c. carriages were constructed. It has it's original red paint with yellow paint detailing to accentuates it's graceful lines.

Height: 44 1/2" ,  Length: 48"

Condition:  In overall excellent condition. It is sturdy and free from breaks or repairs. Mechanically, it works perfectly. It has it's original red paint. It also has it's original fabric interior and fringe trim (minor hurts). There is some wear to the paint on the rear wheels.  It is not offensive, seems to add to the charm of it's original state.

This piece will have to be professionally packed.  I have a man who does a wonderful job crating objects such as this.  And for a reasonable price, too.

A truly wonderful piece of 19th c. Americana to add to your home.  $1275.00
