FRENCH DRESS FOR SIZE 13 OR 14 JUMEAU
A charming dress for that special big Jumeau doll. I am just back from Paris where I found this pink print dress at a household auction. There is red embroidery on the collar and fine rick-rack trimming near the neck. It measures approximately 191/2"-20" in length and would fit a doll that is 30" - 32"(that is a size 13, 14 Jumeau). Condition is good. There are no rips or tears, only a small (1/8" x 1/8") dark stain near one front pocket. (It could also use a bath.) Back. Detail. $275.00    SOLD


FRENCH DRESS FOR SIZE 14 or 15 JUMEAU

Just back from Paris where I bought a number of French doll and children's dresses at a household auction. This dress is in excellent condition (but needs a bath!). It is constructed from a sturdy white pique that has a striped texture. There is hand tucking and lace insertion and a self belt that creates a dropped waist. I would date it as circa 1890.

The length of this dress is 21 1/2" from the shoulder seam to the bottom. It would fit a large Jumeau that is size 14 or 15 or any beautiful doll that is 31"- 32"+ and would like to be dressed in the latest French fashion.

FRENCH PINK SILK DRESS
Another beautiful dress purchased during a recent trip to Paris. This one measures 14"- 14 1/2" from the seam at the shoulder to the bottom of the dress. It would probably fit a size 9 or 10 Jumeau or any other beautiful that measures approximately 23" tall.

It is made from the most gorgeous French silk and lined in a 19th c. white gauze fabric that served to support the silk.   Fine overall condition with just a couple of the most perfect mends (see photo).

Reserve is low...just enough to cover my costs.
