GORGEOUS FIGURE A STEINER BEBE
This beautiful French bebe has an early Figure A head. It is earlier than the head used for "Le Petit Parisien". The quality of the decorating is superb. Besides being gorgeous, it is flawless....not even a flake at the earring hole! Creamy, pale bisque, beautiful blue paperweight eyes, full lips and lovely painted eyebrows complete the picture. The markings on the head read: Figure A 8, Steiner Bte S.G.D.G. Paris. Her long, blonde mohair wig appears to be original to the doll (pate missing).
The body is in proportion to the head, however, it is a marriage of Steiner and Jumeau parts. The arms and lower legs are Steiner and the torso and upper legs are Jumeau.
If you can live with this gorgeous bebe knowing that she has someone else's thighs (wish I could trade my thighs!), you can have a great bargain. Or perhaps you have a 10 1/2" Figure A Steiner body in your parts drawer waiting for a gorgeous head. If so, this is your lucky day, as my price is only $3700. The Blue Book price for a 14 1/2" is $5,000 and I've noticed some dealers have them priced higher.

F.G. CHILD FASHION POUPEE
She's ready for her afternoon promenade down the Champs Elysee. This painted eye fashion has the youthful look of a young girl. Her shoulderhead is incised F. 3/0 G. and it is in excellent condition, free from hairlines, cracks , repairs. Her body is a sawdust stuffed twill that is hand sewn together. Her arms are leather. She wears bloomers, a chemise, petticoat and a lovely hand sewn walking suit in a red silk with black lace trim. Her open crown straw hat is trimmed in black.

A PAIR OF FRENCH GLASS EYED, SWIVEL NECK, ALL BISQUE DOLLS
Wow! These are rare! Not just one, but two, French all- bisques in matching original clothing. Their glass eyes are blue, their mouths are closed and their heads swivel in kid lined sockets. Both have the characteristic long, slender arms and legs. He has black heeled shoes with two straps....hers are blue. Their bodies are strung using tiny wooden pegs at each arm and leg. Original and matching, their raspberry silk clothing is trimmed with a brown lace trim.
Excellent condition, they are free from chips, cracks, hairlines, and restorations. 3 5/8" tall.
