FRENCH FASHION SKIRT
Circa 1870, this white pique skirt has a large, elaborate train. It is made for a small fashion doll. The waist measurement is 5 1/2" and the height is 6 1/2". It is entirely hand sewn with the tiniest, most perfect stitches. You could build a spectacular fashion outfit around this elaborate skirt by adding the perfect jacket or bodice of your choice. FRENCH FASHION HAT AND BOX
Discovered at the Paris "Puce", this fashion bonnet would be perfect to put with a walking suit as it has silk ribbons that tie under the chin. The base of the hat is a pleated netting. There is blue and brown ribbon trim placed diagonally at the edge of the hat. Blue and white fabric flowers decorate the front. The inside measurement of the hat is 2 1/8"-2 1/4". The box is 3" in diameter. It reads "Le Beau Ideal Collet ...A La Parisienne". While both pieces are circa 1870-90, they did not start out together, as the box originally housed collars. But the original owner of this hat thought it the perfect box to protect this delicate, pretty hat and so do I. A wonderful trunk accessory for your favorite fashion doll. Excellent condition. This delightful little dress was found in Paris. It is circa 1860-70 and made from a white pique fabric. It would fit a small fashion. The height is 9"and the waist measurement is 5 1/2".
