FRENCH DRESS FOR A SIZE 14/15 JUMEAU

Here is yet another charming dress for a special Jumeau doll. Found on a recent trip to Paris, France at a household auction, it features a delicate red and pink floral print on a creamy white ground.

It is in generally excellent condition. I gave it a bath and ironed it .There are no rips or tears or worn spots and the dress feels strong.

The length of this dress is 21 1/2" from the shoulder seam to the bottom as viewed on the dress form (meaning, with the waist pulled tight and the bodice "poofed"). It would fit a large Jumeau that is size 14 or 15 or any beautiful doll that is 31"- 32"+ and would like to be dressed in the latest French fashion.

WOOL CAPE/COAT FOR A SIZE 3 OR 4 JUMEAU

I bought this adorable cape/coat in Paris, France. It came from a French home along with a tagged Jumeau fur coat and a pair of signed Jumeau shoes. It is constructed from a fine, herringbone design wool and trimmed with velvet. The velvet looks black in most of the photos, but it is really a lovely deep forest green. Buttons are mother-of-pearl.

I did not have a small Jumeau doll to put it on, so I put it on a 13" tall K * R that was handy. It seems to fits her well, .....perhaps it is a touch short. I feel it would fit a size 4 Jumeau...maybe a 3.

Excellent condition. Clean and strong. Length is 7 1/2"-8".

CIRCA 1890-1900 FRENCH CHILD'S DRESS

Found at a household auction on a recent trip to Paris, France, this elaborate child's dress has an amazing amount of handwork incorporated into its construction. All the pintucking is hand done as is the cutwork embroidery. Additionally, the dress is fully lined with a lovely pink cotton sateen and embellished with a wide pink silk satin bow.

The dress measures 26"in length. It is in generally excellent condition, free from rips, tears, repairs. It does, however, need to be washed as it is dirty and there are yellowed water stains and rust marks that need to be removed.

This would make a lovely dress for a flower girl in a wedding. Or be fabulous on a large doll that measures approximately 39" or 40".
